Old Glory Harley-Davidson hosted a multi-stage battle of the band as a part of their annual promotional event. Bands from the District of Columbia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia were interviewed and specially selected to be a part of the event. The event was coordinated with the help of sound professionals and a team of independent judges. The winner of the battle of the bands was to perform at a Redskins football game. Strange Creek ranked in the top 10 on the battle.
